Juan Cristóbal Cobo
Juan Cristóbal Cobo is a self-taught photographer and former filmmaker from Cali, Colombia, currently based in Bogotá. His photographic work has appeared in publications such as National Geographic, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Leica Fotografie International, and L’Œil de la Photographie, among others. He is the author of two photobooks, La luz opaca and Inventarios, both of which explore urban life through a deeply personal and contemplative lens. In 2024, he was awarded the National Photography Award by Colombia’s Ministry of Culture in recognition of his contributions to the photographic arts.
