Edited by Cristina Velásquez, Inventarios presents the photographic archive as an emotional landscape — a space where the artist evokes the eternal to disentangle himself from the bounds of linear time. Spanning ten years of work, the book brings together Cobo’s photographs alongside vintage images from the personal archive of his father, Oscar Cobo Losada. This weaving of images between father and son form a layered and intimate encounter shaped by both presence and absence.
The monograph features a text (in Spanish only) by filmmaker and writer Víctor Gaviria, whose words further expand the reflective and emotional scope of the work.
Lucho Correa’s design creates a home for the photographs, where every detail echoes the quiet resonance of the images within.
Inventarios was printed by Artes y Letras, a print shop in Medellín whose care and craftsmanship were essential to bringing the book to life.
